Welcome to Postal Pursuits
In 2010 Postal Pursuits opened the first new Stamp shop in the UK in a generation. Although keeping the best of what is traditional about stamp shops we have undertaken to make stamp collecting and philately far more visible to the general public. From the informative presentations and single frame exhibits in the windows, which has recently displayed the Junior winners from Stampex, to the upstairs philatelic gallery, we openly welcome and encourage all ages to experience the joys of our hobby. In March 2011 we formally opened the upstairs library, browsing area and re-furbished meeting rooms which is open to use by societies and clubs to host meetings.
This newly designed web site incorporates our online shop and has a dedicated blogging area for Postal Pursuits, local stamp clubs and collectors worldwide. As time permits a comprehensive events calendar will develop for fairs, meetings and exhibitions along with a searchable links page to show the best of what is available on the net.
