No Sunday opening in September

The successful first Sunday of the month opening will have to be missed this September as there is personal clash with a visit to the Paralympics in Stratford… and just how many stamps are we going to get now that the Royal Mail is to issue one for each gold medal winner!!

North Herts Stamp Club

The next meeting of the North Herts #Stamp Club in the #Philatelic Gallery above Postal Pursuits is on Friday 25 May starting at 19.00. The main talk is ‘Russia’ from Mr M. Humphrey.

Postal Pursuits web site repaired!

It has been slow work, mainly due to how busy we are in the stamp shop, to get the site repaired. We apologise for the loss of some of the functionality over the last month. We will now be able to move ahead on some of the new developments planned.

North Herts Stamp Club meeting

Tonight sees the themed competition for the Letchworth section of the North Herts Stamp Club. We are hopeful for a number of display based on ‘T is for’.

South Africa Collectors Club to visit

I am pleased to inform everyone that the South African Collectors Club will be meeting at Postal Pursuits in the Philatelic Gallery on 7 July 2012. This is the first National group to use the facilities and we look forward to welcoming them.

A New Year

The new year has seen many new customers visiting the shop already and the shop is busier than ever. It is clear that the hobby of stamp collecting is still very popular and it is encouraging that we see so many just starting the hobby or returning after a long absence.

A busy month

It has been a very busy month. Two trips to Europe buying new material and preparation for Christmas meant I had to leave the new web site alone for awhile.
